Welcome and thank you for your interest in our study. Our team of researchers at the Graduate School of Education and Information Studies at UCLA, the School of Education at Stanford, and The RAND Corporation, is conducting a study of assessment practices in middle school science. As a part of this research, we are developing a portfolio-like measure of teacher practices which we have called the Assessment Notebook. This study is supported by grants from the W.T. Grant Foundation and the Spencer Foundation.
